Privacy Policy

Tryout Assistant (“the App”) is designed to help coaches capture tryout observations quickly while protecting your privacy.

What we collect

We do not collect, store, or sell your personal data. The App does not have accounts and does not include advertising or tracking SDKs.

What the App stores on your device

Information you create in the App is stored locally on your device, such as:

• Tryout sessions, rosters, and player information
• Notes and evaluations you record
• Optional audio recordings (if you choose to save them)

Speech recognition

Tryout Assistant uses Apple’s Speech framework for speech-to-text transcription. Depending on your device, language, and settings, speech recognition may be processed on-device or sent to Apple for processing. The developer of Tryout Assistant does not receive your audio or transcribed text.

Third-party services

We do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. System services provided by Apple (e.g., speech recognition) may process data as described above and are governed by Apple’s policies.

Backups and deletion

• You can delete data inside the App (players, sessions, notes).
• Deleting the App removes its locally stored data from your device.
• If you have device backups enabled (iCloud or local), App data may be included in those backups.

Children’s privacy

The App is intended for coaches and evaluators. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
